FALLE NIOKE announces his signing to Eat Your Own Ears Recordings with brand new track “LDN Girl”.
The single finds Nioke covering new ground on a sultry, afrobeats-indebted ode to women in the UK club scene. Or, perhaps, specifically one woman: his now wife, who proudly told him she was a 'London Girl' when they first met on a beach in 2017.
“LDN Girl” originated from my wife who used to say that she was a London Girl. I was inspired by that as well as the vibrance, energy and vibes of the Notting Hill Carnival and Brixton, where I’ve spent a lot of time performing and discovering new music.” - Falle Nioke
"LDN Girl" was produced by familiar collaborator Ghost Culture, and also features North London punk rapper TaliaBle. More music is set to follow from Falle Nioke via Eat Your Own Ears Recordings, so stay tuned for further announcements.
