Percussive Maintenance by Lemonick
Born in 95 in the quiet city of Vevey in Switzerland, Lemonick took up DJing and producing at the age of 14, after discovering electronic music. Inspired by many genres such as house, techno, garage, UK funky, dubstep, grime, hip hop and the main sound coming from the UK, his main goal and appreciation has been and will always be versatility. His production skills got him to work and release music on imprints such as Files Rec and Argent Sale. He’s now returning with a 2-tracks EP tainted of heavy kicks and deep percussive elements. “Percussive Maintenance” opens up on a mysterious introduction that rises towards a booming drop. Ever gaining in intensity, the track delivers a smart combination of drums and mesmeric reverbed synths melting into pure techno goodness. “Muscle” sets up a different but no less powerful mood, based on deep broken kick patterns and spellbinding synths and effects. This release is all about the dark depiction of a mystical universe.
