ちゅざけんなッズベ公！！ by Constellation Botsu
Japanese noise artist, Constellation Botsu shreds samples of percussion and data into noise and rhythm; closely identified with the original natures of both sources, at the same time rudimentary and multiplex, ingrained and analytical.
There are spontaneous moments of self-control but mostly Botsu’s unforgiving onslaught of fast-paced sound produces a near ceaseless climaxing effect. High energy and freedom in each of the album’s short pieces cut instantly into one another, referencing the artist’s obvious desire for relentlessness and violent release.
This mini-album is absolute chaos but its framework for experimentation and breaking down conventions is offering an alternative to both the high-gloss and down-tempo sides of the current underground. Tracks are titled by numbers in the high 100’s, as if they represent one small part of a much bigger puzzle.
