In his latest work, François Richard presents original compositions written for a 12-musician ensemble, and based on a concept established by CMFR (Créations Musicales François Richard).  This triple quartet is composed of a jazz ensemble and a string section (directed by Stéphane Allard), to which is added the rather unexpected sound of French horn.
 
Composed and arranged mainly by François Richard himself, this decidedly original album features music in the classical jazz style, with just a touch of post-romantic modernism thrown in.  Influenced by Impressionist music and painting, the repertoire is a synthesis of past concerts in which a string section 

Dans ce dernier opus, François Richard nous propose, à travers un concept mis sur pied par les productions CMFR (Créations Musicales François Richard), un ensemble de compositions originales écrites pour un ensemble de 12 musiciens. Ce triple quartet est composé d’un ensemble de jazz additionné d’une section de cordes, dirigé par Stéphanie Allard, auquel s’ajoute la présence inattendue d’un cor français.
Composé et arrangé principalement par François Richard, cet album 100% original se caractérise par un jazz de type classique accompagné d’une belle touche de modernisme post-romantique. Influencé par l’impressionnisme en musique et en peinture, ce répertoire est la synthèse de différents concerts au cours desquels la section de cordes se joignait à l’ensemble de jazz basé sur le concept de François Richard Quartet.
