Soul Collector by Free Range Folk
This album is a cultivation of some aged vintage songs and some young. Some songs traveled as far away as Oregon and Mexico but were transformed into their present state in the Northern Appalachian foothills of Pennsylvania on a small farm around a campfire. Banjos, guitars, mandolins, jaw harps, musical saws, washboards, drums, and dobros found there way into the mix. The recording was made in a friend's subterranean Philadelphia studio under the weight of tractor trailers, bricks and steel. We are very proud of these songs and we hope they bring you goosebumps and good visions.
