Cats by Qusok

5th installment by FRI imprint is introduced by producer Qusok from Moscow Russia.He is experienced DJ and producer, owner of Funkymusic record label and podcast platform since 2011.
With EP Cats Qusok demonstrates his sharp taste and sensibility for house music by successfully translating well-produced sounds and smooth aesthetic on all four tracks.

First track "Cats" right from the start introduces exciting and uplifting energy with syncopated chord stabs and rhythm. Qusok skilfully combines distinctive cat-like sounds to emphasize each part, which can help explain why the track is called Cats. With this track, he turns from exotic to profound but upbeat vibes, and the voice cuts to strike the ideal balance between an upbeat and serious mood.

The second track "Shine Up" brings nothing but bounce groove. A percussive bassline dances wonderfully with exuberant staby house chords and a drumbeat. Qusok infused a head-bopping groove with suitable voices to create a contemporary house music vibe.

"Crazy Pilots" at first glimpse is capturing listeners with classic House music foundation known by typical analog bass and machine drum beat. Qusok here demonstrates his savvy sound selection ability by playfully combining deep house chords and pad textures with vocal cuts. Altogether It's well refined classic house warped in exquisite modern attire.

"Guitar Flight" comes up as the 4th track, with a guitar chord sample mainly driving the track. Qusok wisely uses a revolving atmosphere around samples consisting of various pads, textures, and keys to invigorate the mood from monotone to deep, inspiring emotions.
