An extremely short metalcore song (under 2 minutes), equally inspired by Underoath (given the disharmonic riff), but also by Killswitch Engage with its soaring powerchords with the typical reverbed tremolo picking on top.
Lyrics deal with false memories and tricks of the mind, with being sure about remembering an event a certain way when it is clearly not and it is probably just an error that occurred when the brain copied the given memory. The identity crisis and crisis of faith resulting from this is talked about in the lyrics, too, since you found something you were sure about and always believed to be a lie. Also, you are getting older and start to forget certain things - memories bleed together, you mistake events in your past for others - these are events that made you who you are and you cannot even remember them, therefore an identity crisis, if you don't know who you were, how can you trust who you are now?

Who am I? What does "I" mean? Consciousness is an illusion. You cannot pinpoint the moment in time and the location between millions of neurons where it starts out. Additionally, I am not the same person I was 10 minutes ago.
