Led by George Clinton and consisting of some of the best musicians of the 70s or any era, Funkadelic recorded eight albums for Westbound that smashed all genre barriers. Inspired by Jimi Hendrix, psychedelics, the Civil Rights Movement, the Vietnam War and a lifetime of ingesting soul, blues, country and early rock n' roll, Funkadelic created a sound and legacy that still shape culture today.
