German Error Message is the songwriting & recording project of Nashville-based musician, engineer, and producer Paul Kintzing. Adopting the moniker in 2004, Kintzing has been self-releasing music online under the name since 2008. German Error Message releases range from simple, stripped back home recordings to more ornate arrangements. Encompassing elements of folk, indie rock, experimental and ambient music, Kintzing’s songs are typically characterized by personal, expressive songwriting grounded by a unique and homemade intimacy.
