MicroMatscenes presents “Fast Forward”, pushing his most electronic side to the limit. A concept album that turns an entire life into the glowing pulse of RetroWave/Synthwave.
Each track is a stage of growth: the restless sprint of childhood (“Running Away With You”), the sweaty dance-fueled swagger of teenage years (“Synthscotheque”), and a world becoming increasingly digital (“Remote Control”).
Then come the first “real” loves — longer, deeper, the kind that actually make you grow up (“I Love You Girl”), ambitions that shine before revealing themselves as gilded cages (“Infinite City”), illusions collapsing (“Future Lost”), and fears crawling back from the dark (“Paura in the Dark”).
But dawn breaks anyway: a bright new road that kicks everything back into motion (“Sunrise Road 2024”). And finally, maturity — slowing down, breathing, facing nostalgia with clear eyes, taking back control (“Walking Away With Me”).
A retro-futuristic journey that doesn’t just play: it sticks to your skin.
