Gabby La La's sound is heavily influenced by the emotional depth and complex patterns of Classical Ragas, and sprinkled with pop and funk ideas of the west. La La has become a vital component guiding traditional music into the future. Following the advice of her Guru, Ali Akbar Khan, she practiced hard for many years to hone her technical skills but also looked within, to find her own voice.
