This is a soundtrack for a video game that doesn't exist. If it did, here's what the description would be...
Starship Lighthouse is a four-player game with two teams of two players each. Team 1 operates a starship lighthouse, a tall, brightly glowing spire that guides spaceships to a safe landing in densely foliated or inhospitable areas. On this particular day, the lighthouse crew has arrived to find the lighthouse powered down and the previous crew killed, and the thing... or things responsible are still there, lurking in the shadows. Team 1 must clear the lighthouse of invaders, restore power, and guide an approaching freight cruiser to a safe landing.
Team 2 operates this freight cruiser, which has been severely damaged and is flying blind and moving erratically. Team 2 must pilot the ship to a safe landing while repairing critical systems inside and outside the ship. They had better hope that whatever creatures or entities that took over the lighthouse don't show up on their ships as well...
Spanning multiple biomes and difficulties, Starship Lighthouse is a game that doesn't exist, and now that I've written all this out, I'm bummed that it almost certainly never will.
