When we started working on Permanent Daybreak, it honestly felt like we were just doing what we always do: messing around with these half-broken guitar pedals and glitchy vintage synths down in Jake's garage. But this time, something bigger started to take shape. This whole story, this kind of radiant arc, about a city trying to find its way back after being shattered by digital noise and misinformation… it just emerged from the layers of fuzz and reverb we were building. We found our vocals starting to float over it all, and it just made a different kind of sense. You don't have to try too hard to understand it; just let it wash over you.

The whole album, all eleven tracks, is this journey. From the quiet hum of something like 'Static Orchard' or 'Pixel Lament,' where you’re in that initial stunned loss, you feel this slow shift. Our kaleidoscopic guitars and the way the AI-warped synth drones move, they’re meant to mirror that collective path from being lost to finding something like ecstatic renewal. We layered in that velvet-soft shoegaze fuzz, the kind that feels like a blanket, with these deep, slow-breathing ambient swells. But the real emotional gut-punch, the summit of it all, is 'Believers’ Surge.' The music just strips back to this single, heart-like drone, and then it explodes into this huge halo of major-key distortion.
