Creekwalking by Gareth Flowers
When I was growing up in northern Virginia, I used to go creekwalking pretty regularly in Four Mile Run. During the lengthy quarantine of 2020, I found myself again creekwalking, but this time in the Esopus of Woodstock, NY. After capturing field recordings of various outdoor ambiences there in the Catskills, as well as trumpet melodies on a concrete patio, I had this idea for some woodland vignettes, and these became Creekwalking.
