Kashmir by Garmarna
Massproduktion celebrated 40 years in business and Garmarna contributed with a cover recorded exclusively for the Christmas caledar and compilation.
Here they take on dark electronic pioneers Dockhuset and a track from their debut from 1984 – an instrumental track called Kashmir. Garmarna transforms the electronic track with their own sounds adding Hurdy Gurdy and Mora Harp to the beat and the electronics and add some distinctive Garmarna feel to the song.
One of the most important Swedish folk bands to emerge in the early 90-ies, combining, swedish folk, medival ballads with electronic sounds.
