The Call is the most recent addition to the album. It is essentially just an intro to Crossing the Field, as I realized that I really didn't like Crossing the Field's sudden start as an introduction to the album. It is meant to represent the call of adventure, the first thing that sets the hero out on their quest. Whether it be the summons of an old wizard, the need to save a stolen family member, or just wanderlust, The Call is the moment that the hero goes from a regular life to being caught up in something much greater.
Fun fact, the first two songs of this album were made in the same logic project I called "The Call and The Crossing." I just thought that was a cool name but there was no good way to implement that into the actual album titles, so I figured I'd just mention it here.
