Smile
Sweet childhood memories as a metaphor about the place we all come from - and will probably return to – ‘the garden’. I always wanted to know more about life and death than my parents or teachers were able or willing to tell me. A song full of hope for conciliatory endings and happy homecomings. And also a homage to my family days during the 60s – happily playing in the garden with my brother when our parents were still alive.
Starting out in the seventies George went on to evolve into a versatile songwriter somewhere between his Celtic roots and “Swinging London” 60’s style. He has released 10 albums so far and works also as a producer. He has published an album with lyrics by the Boston-based Writer Richard Cambridge.
