The Mask was founded in the year 2000 by singer/guitarist George Silverman, ex-member of the underground group the WC band and was awarded the title of "best guitarist" in 1983 in Pragues Beat Salon competition.
The Mask's style is mystic rock. George Silverman composes the music and the lyrics are written by American muralist Jeremiah A. Soper from the family od William Shakespeare.
