Chants by Georgina Brett
I have been singing pagan rounds since undergraduate 1992 ish..They were an important part of my musical education at the time even though they were nothing to do with the music department. I met with 5 or 6 friends in a cottage in Roslin (where the famous Roslin Chapel is), once a week for a while, and we sang and played percussion, getting to know wonderful chants from the 'Prana Chants' Songbook. all but 3 of these songs are from this book. The exceptions are Celebron - a round by Orlando Lassus, Aum Vajra - a chant i learnt at Buddhafield Festival in 2003, and Bholenath - a song Shiv taught me one day in East London.

Georgina (BMus MA in Electro-acoustic music), focuses mainly on vocal compositions in ambient, minimalist and electro-acoustic styles Currently transferring her live techniques to computer based ambisonic, vocal composition and ambisonic 3D spatializations. She has also recently begun performing using her own poetry. She runs Tuesdays Post : Live Progressive Ambient a series of concerts in London.
