“Inati” means Mother in Amharic.
Humanity has learned to create impressive things, but are we learning more than to benefit from our planet (mother Earth) without giving back, rather than knowing that it always backfires on us?
GOTARD came into being in 2005. We try to build the mood and atmosphere of our music based on what inspires us or fascination with the era of the Middle Ages in Europe, and ethnic sounds, so it's a mix of different styles, but with an emphasis on folk and old sounds.
