Two Devils

Two Devils crossed my path and it surely blew my mind.
Not quite the type of thing I was expecting to find.
One devil she had eyes of green and she whispered in my ear,
“Don’t be afraid little boy, you’ve got nothing to fear.”
The other devil well she was of a different sort,
Gave me this information, to me she did report.

If you want to be a martyr you’re gonna need to lose it all.
And if you want to climb to heaven you gotta be willing to…

Two Devils crossed my path with a dark and evil goal.
Clawed hands piercing, tearing at my soul.
Fed me my poisons and they did intoxicate.
One said, ‘Don’t look now but the hour’s late.”
Two devils crossed my path and pulled me from the light.
Last words did echo as I fell into the night.
