Our lunch break was a comin' up,
need to get outta this pickup truck,
sit down, take a load off,
and have some tea.

My buddy wanted enchiladas,
I was cravin' food... like my mamas..
Didn't see how,
we ever would agree...

But in Texas there's a place for that,
A place called Lubys, and its a fact,
They got Mexican AND Mac...whatever you wish

but I get the same thing, every time,
you're never gonna change my mind,
so crispy, so refined,

Then there she was just up the line
she couldn't decide just what to dine on,
she passed up all the salad,

And she looked good, but I had to know,
Which way this beauty was gonna go
thinkin' roasted chicken,
with all that hair...

But she passed it up, the liver too,
And I'm trying hard not to stare,
That's when she picked the fish,
That is square....
