The legendary Texas-born, Florida-raised guitar wild man who tore up stages for seven decades, delivering outrageous guitar solos and raw, rough vocals. He gigged with Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, T-Bone Walker and Guitar Slim, and was a major influence on young Jimi Hendrix. He began recording in 1957 and cut over a dozen albums, three for Alligator, full of searing, totally unpredictable guitar.
