Melanie has stated “I wrote this song during the lockdown as it helped me escape from the realities of the pandemic. I was thinking about all the fun experiences that people were missing out on, and how heartbreaking that was, new love would be so hard to experience during the lockdown.

The title of the song sums up the intoxicating effect that love has on us, a feeling that the world has really missed!”
