Oceano by Harper Mattraw
This EP was conceived, written, and recorded in its entirety (save for a few instances) in the 'comfort' of my dorm room at the University of Maine; the idea was to create a concept EP, but without following a distinct story or plot. it has more to do with the emotions each piece evokes and the order in which they do it. It's difficult to explain, but basically I want everyone who listens to it to do so with an open mind, and form their own story from the feelings that are evoked throughout. The goal is for the listener to feel as though they have traveled somewhere by the time the album is over.
