Dementia distorted visuals
Oblivious to faces I once recognized

Brain cells slowly decay
Hysterical; appearing deranged
Hallucinations impairing my sight out of hand

Deterioration of the membrane
Degeneration

I feel as if I am human waste
Delusions of depression

Never to escape this endless torment
Subconsciously enslaved

Displacement within existence
Once familiar now so unknown
Unable to distinguish my recollections
Struggle is part of life
