On the bleak night of October 8th
A small group of heavily intoxicated scientist
Came up with the idea to invent a chewing gum
That never goes hard or clumpy in your mouth
They decided the best color for this gum be a tie-dye swirl
Of deep purple and lime green

[It's radioactive!]
The chewing gum that never hards or never clumps...

Now here we have little Susie and little Johnny
Sitting around and playing such fun games
As hopscotch and jacks, in the park
And do we wonder; Do they have that fun-loving chewing gum
In their mouths, such as all the other kids do? You bet they do!

But, oh no! A side effect has occurred!
Now little Susie's and little Johnny's, nationwide,
Have changed into a color of deep purple and lime green
All of their own
Shifting and twisting, they mold into an orcish like blob
All hair is lost upon the body
Their eyes have melted into one gigantic cyclops
Within the middle of their foreheads
And their tongues spit venomous juices
Our nation's guard have been called out
To kill our own nation's young
No folks, I'm afraid there's no Superman for today....
