Commodore by Haunted Disco

I've spent my life in a fog, denying what is real about me. I let things happen to me without bothering to intervene. I live life on auto-pilot.

The real truth about me is that I've spent life as someone I'm not. Every passing year is spent tearing through another layer of real, repressed feelings. It's no wonder that I've always been so dissatisfied with life, because I didn't feel like I was a real participant in it.

It's 2020, I'm 25 turning 26 next month. I've spent the first quarter of my life so lost. The winds of the future roar in the distance, the ocean of this life stretches onward towards some obscure horizon.

I'll be honest with you, I'm scared to death. But I know what to do. I can't just drift endlessly. I have to take control.

Be the commodore.
