It's Just A Song For Pan!
A Riffy Little Number With Interludes Of Not. Just Thrown Together Tonight Before I Forget it Again. This Day Dec 4 2011....It was said that once Pan had the audacity to compare his music with that of Apollo, and he challenged Apollo, the God of the lyre, to a trial of skill. Tmolus the mountain God was chosen to umpire. Pan blew on his pipes with such rustic melody it gave great satisfaction to Tmolus himself and his faithful follower Midas who happened to present. Then Apollo struck his lyre. Tmolus at once awarded the victory to Apollo. All, but Midas, disagreed with the judgement. He dissented and questioned the justice of the award. Apollo would not suffer such a depraved pair any longer and caused them to become the ears of a donkey....... Maybe Pan played from the heart....
