Hector Costita (born October 27, 1934) is an Argentine-born musician and composer from Buenos Aires. He became one of Brazil's most renowned flutists and saxophonists, performing and recording with luminaries such as Lalo Schifrin, Gato Barbieri, Michel Legrand, Ray Conniff, Burt Bacharach, Manfredo Fest, Sérgio Mendes, Zimbo Trio, Hermeto Pascoal, and Elis Regina among many others
