foam by Heiner Metzger
foam is an album of my solo work with styrofoam objects and the soundtable. In some of the tracks i changed the recorded sounds and made new compositions of them, other are nearly as recorded.
the soundtable consists of two thin wood panels. the styrofoam parts i used have different shapes.

Heiner Metzger improvises and composes, makes recordings, radio broadcasts, videos, installations and performances. With soundtable, clarinets, saxophone, electronic and objects in the EMN Ensemble, the Stark Bewölkt Quartett and in ad-hoc ensembles. The soundtable is a table instrument, amplifier and platform for percussive, noisy actions, with parts made of cardboard, wood, styrofoam and metal.
