High Hopes by Here's The Steeple
Here's The Steeple is the musical handle of Dan Walters, and his talented friends. Dan used to perform under the name Run The River. 'High Hopes' is his first release as Here's The Steeple.
Here's The Steeple and Run The River have received support from Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) and Bob Fischer (BBC Music Introducing on BBC Tees), as well as several other local radio stations.
High Hopes is a record informed by, if not about, Huddersfield. Dan went to uni in Huddersfield, where he was met by a huge number of incredible musicians and a music scene that thrived on collaboration. The songs on the album share themes such as homecoming, reminiscing, mental health, and all the other things moaned about by people going through a quarter-life crisis.
High Hopes was made with the help of a host of Huddersfield musicians without who's time and talent it wouldn't have happened.
