last night in the dream
i was found at the scene
moving to the band
they were playing
i was stoned and lovely
something changed roughly
the lamps were shining light
onto my face
as a ghost i was cold
in my dream i was bold
i told my mind to them
to the strangers
in the dark i was alone
at the creek throwing stones
the sound was moving out
across the field
after the show the light went dim
i cut off my phantom limb
my blood was pouring out
onto the grass
