Nine preludes by Joseph Kolkovich

Jozef Kolkovič,native of Prešov, graduate at the Andrej Očenáš, Jozef Sixta and Dezider Kardoš compositional classes, has emigrated to the USA in the beginning of the eighties. By long time working in the Californian prog-rock scene, his compositional approach has obtained an individual originality connecting the strictness of compositional logic with the playful intensive expressivity. The diversity of his piano preludes and Silent Tears of Fathers for five double-basses in the world première!
