Welcome to Lesser

In this album I take a deep dive into the inner workings of my mind. It is divided into 3 parts, which I use to convey different experiences in my life, from romantic, to childhood and more.

Part 1: Scorpio, Never Existed, Vertigo, Narcissus

In these songs I take a pragmatic, purely observational viewpoint. I look to understand past experiences in my life and take the lessens from them.

Part 2: AESTHETICA, Blood Bath, Die Without Me, Put Down

The songwriting style of this section reflects the more intense emotions such as jealousy, love, and desire. This is kinda the 'love life' section I guess haha. The production style of these songs is the darkest of the album.

Part 3: can i stay the night?, Telephone Wires, House on Fire, Golden, 13th

Slow, soft, and quiet is probably the best way I can describe the tone of the songs in this section. The lyrical content consists more of my thoughts about the world, the effect of my childhood on me now, and the many nights I've spent wondering "What if this?" and "Why is that?". The best word to describe this section is either rumination or introspection.

Finally, the reason why I named this album 'Lesser' is that when I started to make it, I realised that my way of thinking would always put myself and anything I have to say below what everyone else was thinking/had to say. Realising this forced me to tackle it, and I'm still in the process of changing it, but I'm grateful that I realised it. Always remember that what you think and what you have to say is important too, ok?

Anyways, hope ya'll find some peace in this album; it's certainly brought me much of it. The past 6 months I've spent making it have been the most beautiful and crazy of my life haha.
