In November 2011 I set out to record an album unlike anything I had done previously as Subversive Intentions. It was to be a solo electric bass album, populated by compositions and improvisations. This is the last bit of music I recorded at my house on Jordan Ave in Brunswick Maine; a little diy show space/practice space we referred to as the Bombshelter (it was also where we did Food Not Bombs). Eventually I moved out. After a article in the paper about the space alerted the land lord, the Bombshelter got shut down. Around the same time I got a virus on my computer that made me have to partition my drive. I thought for years I had lost access to all the music I recorded but about 4 years ago I rediscovered the recordings. After a series of rejections from other tape labels I have finally decided now was the time to put this out.
