Within Serrated Spectra, Hologram Dagger invites you to peer into the void and see what you can hear. A melodic journey that cannot be attributed to one style, Serrated Spectra takes you across the musical spectrum of boom-bap instrumental hip-hop, waves of orchestral frequencies, to nuanced electronic riffs that will instantly become stuck in your noggin. This album deftly straddles the spaces between clever melancholia and uplifting anthems.

Hologram Dagger spent a year and a half crafting this project using a range of samplers (SP1200,MPC 1000,SP-606), a good number of records, pocket synthesizers (korg monotrons), keyboards (roland xp-50, albleton synths). The samples were picked from obscure $1 records bins from across Texas. The album focuses on combining as many multiple sounds sources and transitions as could be manipulated to fit into concise tracks. Enjoy!
