'Here' marks the first collaborative release between Stefano Guzzetti and Ian Hawgood after many years of friendship, label collaboration, live and film performances spanning visits to each others relative homes in Japan, Poland, Italy and the United Kingdom in that period.

Stefano and Ian were connected through a demo sent to Ian's Home Normal label back in the summer of 2012 which led to Stefano's seminal release 'At Home - Piano Book (Volume One)'. Prior to this, Ian hosted Stefano for the Home Normalism two day showcase and this has been followed with a number of performances in collaboration over the years, notably touring in Japan, as well as Stefano's 'Piano Book' series for Home Normal.

Both deeply attuned to the romanticism of electronic-ambient music, 'Here' is their first published work based around concepts of the romantic nature of the present moment and the mindfulness therein. 'Here' was created a little over a year after Ian started to suffer debilitating health issues with Stefano being a source of constant support and inspiration as Ian continues to go through rehabilitation. The album works as a note of love between friends and passion for the romanticism of life, memories and deep acceptance to the present moment.
