This song opens with a recording of a CNC machine built by Duan Van T Slot playing a melody. The machine comes back a few times in the song.

Because there is circle in the title, we put the decimal representation of pi within some of the drum patterns.

The main theme is about changing from a person who only claims to care about issues such as deforestation and climate change, to a person whose actions reflect that. Relating to that, the song is also about the human tendency to keep doing the same thing and the difficulty to break bad habits. And it's also about space travel, because why not, space travel is cool.

The crop circle is a metaphor. The same way crop circles ruin the crop, there are many human activities that cause deforestation and ruin the planet. The main one ironically is agriculture. The crop circle is to the crop as the crop is to the forest.

This makes humans like aliens. Those voices in the middle are NASA samples from the moonlanding, pitch shifted to sound more like aliens. Calling humans aliens is relevant, because humans are an "alien" species most places they inhabit. We aren't really part of our ecosystem usually.

Now I'm not saying agriculture is bad, it's obviously necessary to feed humans, but at the moment a lot of it is done very irresponsibly. Animal agriculture uses way too many resources in relation to what it produces. The main cause of deforestation is to produce animal feed. Palm oil production is also very bad.

It sounds like a negative topic, but it's actually a positive song. The message is about empowerment. Any individual could help by cutting down on products that were produced in destructive ways and spreading awareness. The problem could be solved if people break their bad habits.
