this opening chapter is a documentation of the history of the world from about 7 minutes before the Big Bang roughly up until the industrial Revolution. aka “The Beginning of the End”. That moment was akin to enjoying the best meal of your life in a restaurant, your mouth all aflutter with WOW factor, umami, and orgasmic mouth-feel…and then you find a used Band-Aid embedded in your Baked Alaska. doesn’t matter how amazing of an experience you had had up until that point. by the time the sun rises tomorrow, that restaurant is getting burned to the fucking ground.
