Fabio Keiner is making sounds and noises in ambient/abstract/generative - but also ritualistic and meditative - genres for more than 20 years.
Educated in classical music and composition at the college, this left a life-long aversion against any form of classical music.
Hence the motto: 'I hate music, but I love sound'.
Only with the onset of softeware synths and internet after 2000 he started again to compose/work with sounds - preferably longform ambient, often dark ambient.
"Whispers" is the latest experiment with abstract soundings deriving from vocal performance or chants. A try to create the atmospheres of secret messages, stiffled discurse or simply the desperate intent to get heard - in dense whispers, sometimes decaying into silence, sometimes swelling into loud hisses and menaces. Whispers is an uninterrupted soundscape of haunting wordless monologues - a soundtrack of a movie of moving blurred shadows of people trying to make themselves audible.
It was entirely produced, rendered, remixed, reworked and stretched with the free kontakt instrument "Whispers" by wavesfactory.com
