Lachesis by Imogen Bliss

This album has been a long, long time in the making. Songs were abandoned for many years while I was bringing up my children. The ones I did with Martin and Nick were recorded years ago, the rest in 2019. The song that spans the whole era is Dark. There is a 16 year gap between the instrumental track and the vocal. But, as verse two says... 'May angels light your lantern through the forests of the night, and help me to hold on to these songs till the coming of the light'. I think if this album has a theme it is of transformation. Lachesis is the name of one of the fates of Greek mythology. It is also the name of a poisonous snake, and a remedy made from its poison.
