Fragile Future by Nino Tares

That 80´s italodisco, which is usually associated with catchy synth riffs, nonsense lyrics and humorous appearance, has for decades pleasured dopamine-seeking pop hearts on the dance floors. But is there really a demand for italodisco these days, and if so, why would this be of interest for the melancholy minded label Inåt Bakåt?

Well, this is italo with a content, it's as simple as that. And it is outstanding! 40 years after the golden era of the genre, the world looks different. Nino Tares produces contemporary swetalo-synthpop with a dystopian view of our existence. Musically it's all there - the chewing bass lines, cheeky guitars and melodies that requires lobotomy to get rid of. What you won´t find is the irony and the gleeful surface. This is naked, danceable and dark. This is Kim Wilde's and Andrew Eldritch's unknown child. And his name is Nino Tares. A marvelous debut album!
