not to leave you bare, but to wrap you in a light
that protects as much as it reveals.

No armor, only a radiant boundary:
strong enough to cradle your fears,
permeable enough to let your soul blaze through.

Oh, and she smiles as she stands watch
not because danger isn’t real,
but because she knows a secret:
LOVE is the only shield......
