Quetzalcóatl by Ingrid N

When I was 14 years old, I found a travel book about Chichén Itzá. The pyramid of Kukulcán attracted me irresistibly and I read the book again and again. I realized then that I would never be able to travel there because I lived behind the “Iron Curtain”. This story taught me that NOTHING is irrevocably fixed in life, EVERYTHING can change, EVERYTHING is transient on this earth. The Berlin Wall fell in 1989 and I have since traveled through this beautiful country of Mexico 3 times. Each time I visited the pyramid of Kukulcán - the feathered serpent, also known as Quetzalcóatl ( called toltec).
It is the only one of the Maya pyramids to have a temple room in the upper part, which can only be reached about a narrow staircase inside. This is where the so-called throne of the Jaguar is located. I had the privilege of being allowed to enter this sacred temple room, but today it is no longer open to the public.
If fate has planned something for you, then it will happen, however absolutely beyond your imagination it may be. This album is my heartfelt thanks for that blessing.

The tracks were played with a breathtakingly beautiful Gong from Grotta Sonora / Italy. It is made of an alloy of steel and titanium.
