Alive, or so for now it seems.
Arrived, my non-somatic dreams.

Belief:
Despicable. applicable.
A failing nonsense I abhor.
For every time it comes to knock upon my door,
I retreat.
Lock the doors and draw the blinds,
I’ll keep it here with me inside.

And I know you know that it’s not enough.
And you know I know that I’ll never be enough.

Will you find me in never-
Find me in never after,
Find me in nothing?

When left to my own devices
I will withdraw from anything and everything,
Expecting death is the next knock on my door.

I retreat.
Trapped in a hell of my design, I can’t help sinking further into it.
Once again without hope.

Will you paint me a picture where the sky is still blue?
Will you show me a fixture where the happy ending is still true?

Will you find me in never after?`
