Drengr from Northlanders by Ivan Duch
This songs is inspired by the old norse word Drengr.
According to Jackson Crawford there is no higher compliment in Old Norse than to call a man or woman a 'drengr,' which in the sagas implies both reckless courage and a code of fair play. The word is also common in Viking-Age runic inscriptions.
