Sunflowers & Tides is a somber, mostly instrumental, album of orchestral music inspired by current, past, and future events. Most obviously these events are the war in the Ukraine (and other past, current, and future conflicts) and the events that led to it, as well as the ongoing climate crisis and the future events it will result in.
