Ekphrastic Discourse by James Ilgenfritz
Bassist James Ilgenfritz, guitarist Sandy Ewen, and saxophonist Michael Foster bring a transgressive take on intense musicality to this set of trio improvisations. Recorded in June 2021 during the second Infrequent Seams Streamfest, these recordings embody a synergy between found objects and music that is both overtly and obliquely performative.
