Cold Sheets by Jeff Chilton

Cold Sheets represents a time of change and movement. These songs were composed and recorded in Ithaca, NY, New York City and Portland, OR between 2016-2017. Originally from upstate NY, I have always felt drawn to travel and explore both inner and outer worlds. During these years I was working about cruise ships and living a very beautifully unsettled life. The Talk and Ithaca Lullaby are my response to leaving my "nest" to grow into a fuller form of myself. Cold Sheets was a response to starting a new life in Portland away from friends and family. I chose to add the Norwegian Wood cover after guitarist Alex Mejia and I met in Portland. We played together weekly for over a year at a casual french bistro and this song was one of our favorites.
